Wiota Community Playground – Phase 1 Complete!

We’re excited to share that Phase 1 of the Wiota Community Playground is officially complete!

This first phase brings brand-new play equipment to our park, giving kids and families a safe, fun, and welcoming place to gather, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. Seeing this vision come to life has been incredibly rewarding for everyone involved.

Looking Ahead: Phase 2

While we’re proud of what’s been accomplished, this is just the beginning.

Phase 2 will expand the playground and continue to enhance the space for all ages with additional features and improvements.

Upcoming Fundraisers

We’re excited to continue building momentum with a couple of upcoming opportunities to support Phase 2:

• Scrap Metal Fundraiser

  A scrap metal dumpster will be available at the Wiota dump starting May 8.

  All proceeds from collected scrap will go directly toward Phase 2 of the playground.

  
  

• Chicken BBQ

  Join us on October 10 for a community Chicken BBQ fundraiser!
